Single Whip - Fast Set variation
The attacker commits to the punch and the defender is able to catch the dynamics of the situation. The movements of the defender can be both smaller and faster than in this animation, so long as they remain in synch with the attacker. The postures of the T'ai Chi Chuan Form are important, but the subtle dynamics of T'ai Chi Ch'uan lives in the transitions between the postures. Demonstration videos of the Wu style hand forms, including the Slow set, the Fast set, and the Simplified form are available at our on-line store.
